Justice SR Krishna Kumar clarified that the hearing focused on the validity of the NCLT’s order, not the cross-allegations between Byju’s and its investors.

Today, On 26th June, The Enforcement Directorate (ED) criticized the trial court’s hasty granting of bail to Arvind Kejriwal, emphasizing that it undermined the judicial process’s integrity. The Supreme Court allowed Kejriwal to file a substantial appeal, as the ED highlighted procedural lapses and failure to comply with mandatory conditions. Additionally, the CBI was granted permission to formally arrest Kejriwal.
Today, On 23rd June, Arvind Kejriwal approached the Supreme Court to challenge an interim stay on his bail granted by the Delhi High Court in a money laundering case related to the Delhi excise policy. The High Court reserved the decision on the stay request, resulting in Kejriwal’s appeal to the Supreme Court.

Today (15th April): The Supreme Court has extended the stay on the High Court’s order appointing a commission to inspect the Shahi Idgah Mosque until August 2024. The court clarified that proceedings before the Civil Judge in Mathura have not been stayed. The case involves legal issues regarding the claim that the mosque was originally a Hindu temple.
