[Defamation Case] Former Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar Files Lawsuit Against Shashi Tharoor

Rajeev Chandrasekhar filed a defamation case against Shashi Tharoor for alleging voter bribery during the 2024 Lok Sabha campaign. The case was filed in Delhi, but jurisdiction issues arose due to Tharoor’s MP position. The transfer petition is scheduled for August 21. Chandrasekhar also issued a legal notice demanding a retraction and apology from Tharoor.
