The Calcutta High Court, led by Justice Hiranmoy Bhattacharya, ordered the Police Superintendent to compile a report on incidents of vandalism during Durga Puja, following a plea for an independent investigation. The court emphasized the need for transparency and directed that the report be submitted by November 14.
Today (on 20th June),The Supreme Court of India will hear petitions regarding alleged leaks and malpractices in the NEET-UG 2024 exam. A vacation bench of Justices Vikram Nath and SVN Bhatti will also address the NTA’s request to transfer all related cases from various high courts to the Supreme Court.
