A 20-year-old second-year MBBS student from RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata was found hanging in her hostel room on Friday. Her worried mother, a doctor at Kamarhati ESI Hospital, broke open the door after receiving no response to repeated calls and found her lifeless body. Police have not found a suicide note and are investigating the case as unnatural death.
