A Bengaluru court Today (June 24th) sent former Janata Dal (Secular) Member of Parliament (MP) Prajwal Revanna to judicial custody till July 8 in connection with the sexual abuse case filed against him.
Today, On 18th June, A Bengaluru court extended the judicial custody of former JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna by 14 days, in response to a request from the Special Investigation Team handling a sexual assault case against him. Revanna faces multiple charges of rape and sexual abuse, adding to the complex political landscape in Karnataka.
The Karnataka High Court today granted anticipatory bail to Bhavani Revanna in a kidnapping case connected to sexual abuse allegations against her son, Prajwal Revanna. The court emphasized the avoidance of media trials and unnecessary arrests of women. Bhavani is accused of kidnapping a woman sexually assaulted by her son, who is currently in custody facing multiple accusations.
