Due to a name mix-up, Faridabad jail wrongly released a rape accused instead of a man who was actually granted bail. Police are now looking for the rape accused who hid his identity to get out of jail.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) Today (Oct 24) approached the Karnataka High Court challenging the special court’s order granting bail to former Karnataka minister B Nagendra, who was arrested on July 12 in connection with the Valmiki Corporation scam case. A special court in Bengaluru had recently granted bail to the former minister, who was arrested by the ED on July 12 in connection with the Valmiki Corporation scam case.
A Delhi court Today (Oct 18) granted bail to AAP leader and former Delhi cabinet minister Satyendar Jain in a money laundering case, citing “delay in trial” and his “long incarceration”. Jain was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on May 30, 2022, on the charge of laundering money through four companies allegedly linked to him. He is currently in judicial custody.
The Supreme Court Today (Sept 10) upheld the bail granted to the former Managing Director (MD) of Siemens Industry Software India Private Limited and two others accused in the Andhra Pradesh skill development scam case. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu has been out on bail in the same case since November last year.
The Allahabad High Court set aside a punishment order against a judicial officer who was accused of receiving “objectionable photographs” from a woman on Facebook and being in an improper relationship with her. After being selected as a civil judge, the judicial officer had received multiple friend requests on Facebook, many of them with queries about competitive examinations.
