The Bombay High Court has summoned all candidates from the Mumbai North-East constituency following a petition by defeated candidate Shahahji N Thorat. Thorat contends that winner Sanjay Dina Patil’s failure to include his mother’s name on his affidavit warrants his disqualification. The next hearing is scheduled for October 23.
