Today, On 9th January, The Calcutta High Court noted that a main petition and an ED counter case are pending before the same bench, fixing both for a joint hearing at 2:30 PM as it urged counsel, “Temperatures are really low… please don’t raise temperatures.”
ED Moves Calcutta High Court. The agency told the court that Mamata Banerjee and senior TMC leaders obstructed PMLA raids and removed crucial evidence while officers were conducting searches at the residence of I-PAC chief Prateek Jain.
Mamata Banerjee slammed the ED after raids in the fake government jobs scam, alleging political misuse and interference. Visiting an I-PAC leader’s residence, she accused the agency of seizing TMC documents and questioned Amit Shah’s role during searches nationwide.
