Today, On 19th September, The Allahabad High Court granted bail to Mukhtar Ansari’s son, Umar Ansari, in a case alleging he submitted fake documents and forged his mother’s signature to reclaim land confiscated under the Gangster Act. He was earlier arrested in Lucknow.

Today, On 5th September, The Delhi High Court ordered the Delhi Development Authority to compensate the families of a mother and son who tragically died after falling into an open drain in Ghazipur. The court instructed the DDA to pay Rs 20 lakh as a humanitarian gesture. The incident raised concerns about safety measures in the area, prompting the court’s decision.

Today (May 15th): The Supreme Court granted MLA Abbas Ansari permission to attend his late father’s memorial service on June 10 and spend time with his family on June 11 and 12. The court instructed the state police to facilitate his movements and noted that similar relief would be granted to others if necessary. Mukhtar Ansari, a notorious figure, passed away on March 28.
