Chandrachud, speaking at Bhutan’s Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law, emphasized the compatibility of traditional values with modern democratic principles. He highlighted the role of local governance in India’s Constitution and advocated for preserving cultural identities amid globalization. He reflected on his two-year tenure and its legacy as he approaches retirement.
