India’s new Chief Justice, B.R. Gavai, has given many important judgments like on Article 370, electoral bonds, bulldozer actions, and women’s rights, strengthening the Constitution, protecting freedom, and promoting justice, equality, and independent courts.
Today, On 14th May, After taking oath as the 52nd Chief Justice of India, Justice B.R. Gavai paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, honouring their legacy at the Supreme Court premises in New Delhi.
Today, On 14th May, Justice B.R. Gavai took oath as the 52nd Chief Justice of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan, becoming the first Buddhist CJI. President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath during the official swearing-in ceremony.
