UIDAI told the Madras High Court that matching a deceased person’s fingerprints with the Aadhaar database is not technically possible. It said the system does not support fingerprint comparison for identifying unknown bodies.
Mumbai: The Bandra Court in Mumbai has sent Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, also known as Bijoy Das, to judicial custody for 14 days. His arrest is linked to the stabbing attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. The incident took place on January 16, in the early hours, when Khan was attacked at his home on the 12th floor in Bandra and was stabbed six times.
