The Supreme Court dismissed a plea over the film “Ghooskhor Pandat” after filmmaker Neeraj Pandey withdrew the title and promotional materials. Justices B.V. Nagarathna and Ujjal Bhuyan accepted his affidavit, stating no further directions were required.
The Bombay High Court upheld a previous ruling preventing the release of the film “Shaadi Ke Director Karan Aur Johar,” citing violations of Karan Johar’s privacy and personality rights due to the use of his name. The filmmakers’ request to release the film under a different title was also rejected.
