The Supreme Court has dismissed Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan’s son, Abdullah Azam Khan’s plea seeking to quash forgery charges in a fake passport case, upholding the Allahabad High Court’s order and allowing the criminal trial to proceed.
On Wednesday(31st July), The Allahabad High Court has issued notice to Akash Saxena, an informant in the Abdullah Azam Khan fake passport case. Justice Rajeev Mishra has directed Saxena to respond to Abdullah Khan’s petition challenging the CJM Rampur’s March 19, 2024, order denying his request to produce evidence questioning the passport’s authenticity.
