Today (Feb 1), while presenting the Budget 2025, the government allocated Rs 1,500 crore for Phase 3 of the e-Courts project. This initiative aims to make lower courts fully digital, online, and paperless, improving efficiency, reducing paperwork, and enabling virtual hearings. It will also allow citizens to access legal services anytime, from anywhere. To bridge the digital gap, special e-Sewa Kendras will assist those without digital access, ensuring justice for all in this technology-driven system.
PM Narendra Modi Today (Feb 1) praised the Union Budget 2025-26, calling it an “important milestone in India’s development journey”. He said, “This is the budget of aspirations of 140 crore Indians… [It] fulfils dreams of every Indian.” Describing it as a “people’s budget”, he highlighted that it will boost “savings, investment, consumption and growth rapidly”, driving economic progress and creating new opportunities for all.
