Today(on 6th May), BJP leader and AIFF president Kalyan Chaubey has moved to withdraw his 2021 Maniktala assembly constituency election petition in West Bengal, informing the Supreme Court. He has filed the withdrawal application in the Calcutta High Court.
Today (29th April): The BJP candidate for the Birbhum Lok Sabha seat, Debasish Dhar, has challenged the cancellation of his nomination in the Supreme Court. The cancellation was due to the absence of a no-objection certificate from the West Bengal government.
