Bombay HC Rebukes Maharashtra Govt. Over Benefits Denial to ‘Martyred Army Major’s Widow’

Today(on 12th April),The Bombay High Court criticized the Maharashtra government for not deciding on benefits for an Army major’s widow, despite previous court orders. The widow had requested financial benefits for ex-servicemen, but the government claimed the major did not qualify as a “domicile” of the state. The court set a deadline for the state to resolve the matter.
