The Hindu side Yesterday (May 24th) submitted before the Allahabad High Court that the provisions which deal with procedures regarding a suit by or against a minor will apply in the Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah dispute in Mathura as the deity is a perpetual minor.
On 30th April: The Delhi High Court expressed concern about unauthorized constructions on Waqf properties, highlighting the lack of oversight. It emphasized the need for effective monitoring. The court discussed a specific case in Nizamuddin East and questioned the authorities about the ongoing dispute between the Waqf Board and the Delhi Development Authority. There are also concerns about the administrator’s actions.
The Hindu side Today (April 30th) countered the argument presented by the Muslim side in the Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah dispute at Mathura in the Allahabad High Court. They asserted that the provisions of the Waqf Act would not be applicable as the disputed property is not categorized as waqf property.
The Delhi High Court concluded Shashvat Nakrani’s appeal against the ruling pertaining to the sale of shares to Ashneer Grover. The court expedited trial proceedings, establishing deadlines for framing issues and recording evidence under a single judge’s supervision. Despite this, the legal matters remain unresolved. Nakrani’s plea to restrain Grover from selling or transferring shares was originally dismissed, sparking the ongoing dispute.
The Allahabad High Court has decided to consolidate fifteen of the eighteen suits related to the Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah Masjid dispute to save time, reduce expenses, and avoid conflicting judgments. This move aims to bring coherence and efficiency to the legal process surrounding this historically and religiously significant case.
