On Tuesday, The Karnataka High Court has temporarily stopped the transfer of Jayalalithaa’s jewelry to the Tamil Nadu government, following a special court’s ruling. The decision, made in response to a petition by Jayalalithaa’s niece, J Deepa, postpones the transfer until further hearings on May 26, due to its importance in a disproportionate assets case.
