The Delhi High Court will hear BJP leader Rajeev Chandrasekhar’s case against Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, who is accused of making “derogatory and malicious statements” in interviews. The hearing, initially scheduled recently, was postponed to May 20, 2025, at the request of both parties’ lawyers for a short delay.
A Surat court has issued a notice to filmmaker Anurag Kashyap over his controversial remark “Brahmin pe mootoonga.” The court acted on a plea claiming the statement hurt religious sentiments and sought Kashyap’s response.
