Today, On 18th October, the Delhi High Court requested a response from the Speaker regarding former MLA Kartar Singh Tanwar’s appeal against his disqualification under anti-defection laws. Tanwar argues the decision was made hastily without a personal hearing. The next hearing is scheduled for December 9, 2024.
