The Supreme Court will deliver its verdict today(13th Sept) at 10:30 AM on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s bail pleas and his challenge against the CBI arrest in the liquor policy case. Justices Surya Kant and Ujjal Bhuyan will preside over the judgment.
The Supreme Court will deliver its verdict tomorrow(13th Sept), on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s bail plea and challenge to his arrest by the CBI in the Delhi Liquor Policy case. The court had reserved judgment on both matters last week.

The Delhi High Court Today (Sept 4) asked the Tihar Jail authorities to file response on a plea by AAP MP Sanjay Singh claiming that he was not being allowed to meet Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in prison. Singh said jail authorities denied him a physical meeting with Kejriwal in prison on grounds that he was an ex-prisoner.
The Supreme Court on Friday (August 23) adjourned the hearing of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s pleas challenging his arrest and seeking bail in the case registered by the CBI over the alleged Delhi Liquor Policy scam, after the CBI sought time to file a counter-affidavit in the matter. A bench of Justices Surya Kant and Ujjal Bhuyan posted the matter on September 5 for hearing.
The CBI Submitted a detailed affidavit in the Supreme Court on Thursday (Aug 22) night in response to Kejriwal’s petition challenging his arrest,accused Kejriwal of attempting to politicise the case, arguing that he is trying to “politically sensationalise the case before this Hon’ble Court, despite repeated orders passed by various courts being prima facie satisfied of the commission of the offences”.

Today(on 8th August), The Rouse Avenue court has extended Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s custody till August 20 in the Delhi Excise policy case. Earlier, the Delhi High Court dismissed his plea challenging the CBI arrest, affirming the justifiability of his arrest. The court also questioned the ED about potential consequences of cancelling his bail, adjourning the matter to September 5, 2024.
Delhi High Court Today (August 5th) dismissed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s plea challenging his arrest by the CBI, stating that the arrest was neither baseless nor unjustifiable. On July 29, Justice Neena Bansal Krishna, who presided over the case, has reserved the verdict on both Kejriwal’s bail plea and his plea challenging his arrest.
