The Delhi High Court Today (Dec 2) said it will hear on December 9 a plea by the city’s opposition leaders seeking a direction to place Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports related to liquor duty, pollution and finance before the Assembly. Justice Sanjeev Narula on Monday deferred hearing on the petition while noting that the pleadings in the case were not yet complete.

The Supreme Court deferred its hearing on petitions challenging the Centre’s ban on the BBC documentary “India: The Modi Question” until January 2025. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta assured the court that a counter affidavit would be submitted within two weeks. The government labeled the documentary as biased propaganda.
