Today, On 18th August, The Supreme Court has agreed to hear the plea of AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi challenging the Delhi High Court order that refused to quash a defamation case, with Justice Sundresh stating, “We will fix a date.”

The court ruled that the articles were not inherently defamatory and fairly reported verified news. It also emphasized that a single incident should not severely damage one’s reputation, ultimately leading to the dismissal of the defamation claim.
