The Orissa High Court has directed police and the DMET over a case of medical negligence involving the death of 12-year-old Md. Aftab. Efforts to expedite the inquiry and emphasize accountability were stressed, following a petition filed against the inaction of the Purighat police station in Cuttack. The court has demanded inquiries and affidavits by March 4, 2024.
