Today, On 13th November, Delhi High Court said the state cannot play dumb and slammed the government for neglecting the education of children found begging and those destitute who moved to the city, stressing that every child deserves access to education.
The Supreme Court said shelter homes for beggars must ensure a dignified life and not be treated as charity, directing all states and UTs to reform such facilities as a constitutional duty to uphold the right to live with dignity.
New Delhi, March 6: A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in the Supreme Court requesting the implementation of the three-language formula suggested under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and West Bengal.
