Despite previous directives, government authorities and existing committees have failed to effectively tackle the pollution issue. The court has mandated the formation of a new committee and scheduled further hearings for July 3.
Today (6th May): The Delhi High Court has demanded a detailed report from the Delhi Police and government on measures taken to ensure safe school evacuations during bomb threats. Stressing the need for tailored Standard Operating Procedures for schools, the court also seeks information on drill frequency, response times, and the handling of hoax calls. The deadline for the report is within ten days.
