President Droupadi Murmu hosted a grand welcome dinner at Rashtrapati Bhavan to honour new Chief Justice of India, Justice B.R. Gavai, who has been part of 700 benches in his six-year judicial tenure.

Ambedkar’s 134th birth anniversary, Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and other dignitaries paid tribute at the Supreme Court, recognizing his pivotal role in shaping India’s constitution and advocating for social change. PM Narendra Modi also honored Ambedkar’s legacy, emphasizing his inspiration for disadvantaged individuals and his fight against social discrimination and for equal rights.
