The four co-owners of a coaching centre in Old Rajinder Nagar have sought bail from the Delhi High Court after their previous bail request was denied by the trial court. The denial was based on their liability for permitting the basement, where three IAS aspirants drowned on July 27, 2024, to be used as a coaching institute.
Today, On 22nd August, The Delhi court set to decide on August 28 whether Rau’s IAS Study Circle can regain access to its premises after tragic deaths in July. The court heard arguments from both sides, with the CEO requesting access for smooth operation of classes. The safety and operational status of the facility are under scrutiny.
A PIL has been filed in the Delhi High Court calling for a “high-level” investigation into the deaths of three civil service aspirants caused by severe water-logging at a coaching center in Rajendra Nagar. The case, presented by Advocate Rudra Vikram Singh, will be heard by Acting Chief Justice Manmohan and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela.
