Today, On 17th December, Supreme Court today heard a contempt plea over alleged shoe-hurling at former CJI B R Gavai during proceedings. The Bench said preventive measures are needed, as SCBA and Solicitor General Tushar Mehta agreed to give suggestions to Court.
Today, On 27th October, The Supreme Court refused to take immediate action against advocate Rakesh Kishore over the alleged shoe-hurling incident targeting CJI B.R. Gavai. The Bench said it was not closing the matter and would frame preventive guidelines.
