Former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has been summoned to appear in court on July 15 in connection with a POCSO Act case, accused of sexually assaulting a minor girl. The summons followed a chargesheet filed by the Karnataka Police’s CID on June 27. The case was registered based on a complaint filed by the victim’s mother, who has since passed away.
