The Jharkhand High Court today granted bail to former Chief Minister Hemant Soren, citing lack of evidence in the money laundering case related to land acquisition. The court found the Enforcement Directorate’s claim ambiguous, as witnesses alleged Soren had already acquired the land. The bail was granted with a bond of Rs 50,000 and two sureties.
