A 33-year-old advocate, Prakash Singh Marwah, was arrested in Chandigarh for impersonating a judicial officer. After filing a bail application, the court sent him to judicial custody at Burail jail. Marwah’s counsel has approached the Punjab and Haryana High Court to challenge the order of police remand. He faces charges under the Indian Penal Code.
