Today, On 16th September, Punjab and Haryana High Court dismissed the plea of a judiciary aspirant who mistakenly declared he had multiple wives, observing that a candidate has to be extremely careful and vigilant while filing his application form in competitive exams.
The UPSC has informed today the Delhi High Court that it will issue a formal order cancelling Puja Khedkar’s candidature within two days. Khedkar had challenged the cancellation, stating she only had a press release and could not approach the tribunal. The court granted her the liberty to challenge the cancellation before the appropriate forum.
