Justice Sachin Datta stated, “The way you have dragged your feet raises doubts about your bona fides,” urging the government to have promptly forwarded the report to the Speaker and initiated a discussion in the Assembly.
Seven BJP MLAs Today (Dec 23) approached the Delhi High Court seeking tabling of 14 Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports pertaining to the city administration before the assembly. The matter was mentioned by the senior counsel for the petitioners before a bench of Acting Chief Justice Vibhu Bakhru and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela which directed that it be listed for hearing in the “normal course”.

The Delhi High Court Today (Oct 28) agreed to list for October 29 a plea by BJP MLAs seeking a direction to the city government to send 12 CAG reports on liquor duty, pollution and finance to the lieutenant governor for placing those before the assembly. The petition was mentioned for listing by a senior counsel appearing for the petitioners before a bench headed by Chief Justice Manmohan. “Tomorrow,” the bench, also comprising Justice Tushar Rao Gedela, said.
