Over 100 advocates from Karnataka have addressed a memorandum to the Chief Justice of India, expressing concerns about inefficiencies and unfair work distribution in the High Court. They highlighted issues such as the Chief Justice’s punctuality, uneven judge assignments, and alleged corruption, aiming to restore public confidence in the judicial system.
The Delhi High Court today granted bail to Arun Pillai in a money laundering case tied to the Delhi excise policy, with allegations of receiving and passing on bribes. Pillai is associated with BRS leader K Kavitha, also an accused. This comes in the wake of multiple bail grants and accusations against a liquor cartel and political figures.
