Supreme Court judge Justice PV Sanjay Kumar Today (July 11th) recused from hearing a bail plea filed by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia in the money laundering case filed against him in the Delhi excise policy case.
CJI Led Bench Today (July 8th) said it would consider listing of a fresh petition of AAP leader and former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia by which his bail plea has been sought to be revived in the excise policy scam cases. On June 4, the top court had refused to entertain the bail pleas of Sisodia in cases lodged by the CBI and the ED in connection with the alleged Delhi liquor policy scam.
Delhi court on Saturday (July 6th) extended the judicial custody of former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, until July 15 in the CBI case in connection with the Excise Policy scam.
AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh Today (June 29th) did not appear before an MP-MLA court here on Saturday in a 2021 COVID-19 norms violation case, citing his preoccupation with the ongoing Parliament session. The court will now hear the matter on July 6.

An application submitted by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for extending his interim bail by one week in the Delhi Excise Policy case was turned down by a Supreme Court Registrar.
