Sonipat, Haryana: A court in Sonipat has scheduled the next hearing for tomorrow i.e March 20 in a criminal case filed by the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) against Arvind Kejriwal, former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convener. The case is related to his statement calling Yamuna water poisonous and accusing the Haryana government of supplying unsafe water to Delhi.

NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court has asked Delhi Chief Minister (CM) Atishi to respond to a plea filed by BJP leader Praveen Shankar Kapoor. Kapoor challenged a special court’s decision that canceled the summons issued against Atishi in a defamation case.
Today, On 22nd January, BJP MP Parvesh Verma filed a Rs.100-crore defamation suit against AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann over alleged false statements. Verma claims the AAP made baseless accusations to influence voters, while Kejriwal criticized Verma’s remarks on Punjabis and demanded an apology.
