Gujarat High Court granted a ten-day parole to a convict in the Bilkis Bano gang rape case to attend his nephew’s wedding, following his surrender a month ago. This decision, the second such instance in the case, was made by Justice Divyesh Joshi. The convict’s remission, granted in 2023, was nullified by the Supreme Court in January.
