Today, On 11th December, the Supreme Court directed the Tamil Nadu government to outline actions regarding trustee appointments for temples, following the state’s report on applications from 31,000 temples. The court stressed transparency and is set to hear the Hindu Dharma Parishad case in February 2025, amid concerns about temple maintenance neglect and representation in trustee committees.
