The Supreme Court quashed criminal proceedings against Vyapam whistleblower Anand Rai, ruling that charges under the SC/ST Act were unjustified. Justices Sanjay Karol and N Kotiswar Singh held that facts failed to disclose any offence under the 1989 law.
