The Delhi High Court on Tuesday (3rd Dec) issued a temporary injunction against Scholars Den for labeling Physics Wallah as “sasta wallah” (cheap one), claiming it misrepresents the company’s affordable yet quality courses. The court determined that Scholors Den’s ads could cause irreparable harm to Physics Wallah’s reputation before the next hearing in April 2025.
Today(on 13th June), The Supreme Court will hear three petitions including one by the CEO of ‘Physics Wallah’, regarding the NEET-UG 2024 controversy. A vacation bench of Justices Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta will address grievances about the conduct of the NEET-UG exam.
Alakh Pandey, CEO of Physics Wallah, has challenged the NEET-UG 2024 conduct in the Supreme Court, disputing the NTA’s awarding of grace marks to 1,500 candidates. Allegations of question paper leaks and irregularities have raised concerns about fairness. The Supreme Court has acknowledged these issues but has not halted the counseling process. Scheduled hearings continue after the summer break.
Alakh Pandey, CEO of Physics Wallah, plans to take the NEET UG 2024 result irregularities to the Supreme Court due to widespread student anxiety. Pandey expressed deep concerns in a video, highlighting discrepancies and the lack of responses from the NTA. He intends to issue a legal notice and seek justice for affected students.
