Today(on 22nd April), The Supreme Court expressed concern over Ashish Mishra, the prime accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri case, allegedly violating his bail conditions by attending events in Uttar Pradesh. Mishra, son of a Union Minister, had been granted bail on the condition of only visiting for trial. The court also criticized the lack of cooperation in trial proceedings.
