Today, On 17th July, Seven FIRs filed against NCP MLA Jitendra Awhad for remarks about Lord Ram will be consolidated at Shirdi, Maharashtra. Awhad’s controversial comments about Lord Ram being non-vegetarian led to charges under Section 295A. The cases, which sparked controversy, will be handled in Shirdi despite Awhad’s efforts to have them transferred elsewhere.
