The Bombay High Court has directed its registry to assign Satish Salian’s petition regarding his daughter Disha Salian’s suspicious death to the appropriate division bench. Salian seeks a CBI investigation and an FIR against Aaditya Thackeray, alleging a politically motivated cover-up after her death in June 2020.
Mumbai: The Bombay High Court heard arguments regarding the custodial death of Akshay Shinde, an accused in a sexual assault case. Senior Advocate Manjula Rao, appointed as Amicus Curiae, emphasized that the police should have immediately registered a First Information Report (FIR) after Shinde’s death.
