NEW DELHI: Today, 17th March, The Rouse Avenue Court has directed that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha be provided with copies of the charge sheet and supplementary charge sheet. This direction comes after Chadha filed a plea seeking monitoring of the investigation in the 2020 Delhi Jal Board office vandalism case.
NEW DELHI: The Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi has given the Delhi Police 60 more days to complete their investigation in the MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) case against former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Naresh Balyan. The police had requested 90 days, but the court only approved a 60-day extension.
The Punjab government asked all law officers to resign as it plans to restructure the Advocate General’s office. There are talks that some law officers from Delhi may get posts in Punjab after AAP’s loss there. But the Advocate General said the officers were only on a one-year contract. This step is part of a bigger administrative change.

The Delhi High Court directed Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit to re-file his defamation suit against AAP leaders Atishi and Sanjay Singh. The court denied him additional time to pay the required court fees. Dikshit had sought Rs.10 crore in damages over alleged defamatory remarks made during a press conference before the Delhi elections. The case will proceed once the filing is completed.
