3 Bombay High Court Judges Made Permanent: Centre

The Central Government Today (March 4) confirmed the permanent appointment of Justice Shailesh Pramod Brahme, Justice Firdosh Phiroze Pooniwalla, and Justice Jitendra Shantilal Jain in the Bombay High Court. Justice Manjusha Ajay Deshpande’s term as an additional judge has also been extended for one year.

Supreme Court Upholds Bail Granted to 3 in Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Scam

The Supreme Court Today (Sept 10) upheld the bail granted to the former Managing Director (MD) of Siemens Industry Software India Private Limited and two others accused in the Andhra Pradesh skill development scam case. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta today requested adjournment for the bail plea hearing of former TN minister Senthil Balaji. The Supreme Court agreed, rescheduling the matter for July 12. Balaji was arrested by the ED in a money laundering case. The case has faced multiple rejections in lower courts, with the Madras High Court denying his bail petition in February.
