Bar Council of India (BCI) has dissolved the Bar Council of Delhi (BCD) citing “discrepancies, delays and non-compliance” despite repeated extensions. A Special Committee led by ASG Chetan Sharma will now oversee affairs and ensure elections by January 31, 2026.
AILET 2026 will be held on December 14, 2025, for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M admissions at NLU Delhi. Online applications open from August 7 to November 10, with a detailed notification coming soon.
