NEW DELHI: 24th March, The Delhi High Court directs Delhi Police to submit a note on the role of accused Tasleem Ahmed in the larger conspiracy behind the Delhi riots. Previously, Delhi High Court has decided to list the bail plea of Tasleem Ahmed before the roster bench for hearing. Earlier, a special bench was hearing his plea along with other accused in the 2020 Delhi riots conspiracy case.

New Delhi: Shahzadi Khan, an Indian woman who was sentenced to death in Abu Dhabi, was executed on February 15, 2025, as per the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). The MEA informed the Delhi High Court about her execution on Monday. The MEA was represented in the Delhi High Court by Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Chetan Sharma. He told a bench led by Justice Sachin Datta that Shahzadi Khan’s last rites would take place on March 5 in Abu Dhabi. The ministry also assured that it would provide full assistance to her family for the process.
NEW DELHI: The Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi has given the Delhi Police 60 more days to complete their investigation in the MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) case against former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Naresh Balyan. The police had requested 90 days, but the court only approved a 60-day extension.
