Bombay: The Bombay High Court granted bail to a 70-year-old man from Satara, Mohansingh Sitaram Naik, who was accused of being involved in the brutal murder of a young girl. The crime was allegedly committed as part of a human sacrifice ritual to gain wealth and prosperity. The case involved accusations of black magic and conspiracy.
Mumbai’s sessions court granted bail to Sanjay Raut, a Rajya Sabha MP, in a defamation case filed by Kirit Somaiya’s wife. Raut, convicted of defamation and sentenced to 15 days in prison, challenged the verdict, claiming it was flawed. Bail was approved upon a Rs 50,000 bond after his personal appeal.
Delhi Court today grants bail to AAP leader Atishi Marlena in the defamation case filed by BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor.
